Five Reasons to Check Out the MBM DestroyIt 4002 Strip-Cut Shredder

The MBM DestroyIt 4002 Strip-Cut Shredder is a powerhouse of a centralized office machine that can handle the shredding needs of even the busiest of offices. Here are a few great reasons you should check out the MBM DestroyIt 4002 Strip-Cut Shredder today.

  1. Impressive Capacity. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut is a workhorse of a shredder that is sure to meet the needs of even the busiest office setting. Featuring a muscular 1.75 horsepower motor, the Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut uses its cutting shafts of hardened German steel to power through as many as 35 sheets of paper in a single pass, not to mention staples, paper clips and credit cards. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut is a shredder for the digital age as well, and is built to handle CDs and DVDs with ease. The feed opening is an extra wide 16 inches, so not only can you shred all the letter and legal sized sheets you want, you can also shred larger paper sizes such as green bar computer sheets. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut’s motor is also rated for continuous use, so you know you can use it as much as you need to, day in and day out.
  2. Easy to Run.The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut shredder has a control pad that is well-lit, large, and easy to understand. Its color-coding and back-lit symbols are simple enough for even a rank beginner to easily decipher, which is a major advantage for a machine that will see use from a lot of different people in the course of a typical day. Photocells at the feed opening allow you to place the machine into automatic on/ off function, so you and your office mates can just place your documents in the feed and go about your business, leaving the Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut to do the work.
  3. Safety Features. Across the feed opening, the Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut has a transparent shield that is electronically controlled, and keeps fingers and other objects such as sleeves and neckties far away from the cutting shafts at all times. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut knows how to prevent potentially dangerous paper jams as well, and will kick into reverse mode automatically if there is ever an accidental paper overfeed. If a paper jam does occur, the Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut will cut power to the motor immediately, as it will when the waste bin of full or the bin door is ajar.
  4. Runs Quietly. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut doesn’t need to make a lot of noise to get the job done right. The motor is specially geared and housed for quiet operation, and the elegant all-wood cabinet absorbs sound and vibration so you won’t have to worry about your shredder being a distraction in a busy office.
  5. The Little Things. Or rather, the little things that make the big things easier. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut has a big 53 gallon bin, so you’ll have to empty it less often, and the bin itself rolls out for easy maintenance. The Destroyit 4002 Strip Cut also comes on casters, so you can easily move the shredder around the office whenever you may need to.

The surgery incision is still open when steri strips came off after 6 days. Doc says it’s OK. Is it OK?

My daughter had a surgery last week to have her deep sacral dimple closed. she had dissolvable stiches inside and steri strips and dermabond outside. The strips came off on their own in 6 days. The incision is still open. We saw the doc, he says that’s fine and the wound will heal from inside out. he just said to keep it clean. But i am worried that if it left open she may get infected or the incision doesn’t close properly or the edges doesn’t overlap and there will be chances of big scar. is it normal for the incision to be open even after steri strips came off. can i do anything to prevent the big scar. My daughter is still in daipers so i am really worried about the infection as the incision is still open.

If for some reason you don’t trust your doctor; go see another one.
