Your Snoring May Be A Symptom Of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

Everybody knows someone who snores, or who has trouble sleeping on a regular basis because of snoring. For the people who cannot sleep and the people around them it can become very stressful and impact upon their daily duties. Everyone needs enough sleep to be able to feel refreshed the following day.

Most people tend to think that snoring is a harmless part of life, and part of some one’s sleep, whereas in fact it can actually be damaging to your health and can lead to more serious conditions.

Snoring has been found to be the root cause of many people’s sleeping issues, leading to fatigue and being grumpy and stressed the following day because of lack of sleep. Snoring can become very challenging and upsetting if left alone and not treated at the early stages of development.

Snoring may be an indicator of a serious underlying condition known as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). If this is untreated and left to progress it can lead to more serious problems such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and strokes, which when you think about it, wouldn’t you rather have your snoring treated earlier rather than going through the pain and discomfort likely with other conditions further down the track?

This can be treated with a highly effective method of snoring prevention, the SomnoDent™ MAS. MAS stands for Mandibular Advancement Splint. This is where a mouth guard is placed in your mouth to help people to stop snoring. It is completely comfortable and non intrusive on normal things you would do, for example yawning and drinking.

If you feel you could be in benefit of sleep dentistry do not hesitate to contact your local dentist to see if they can help to alleviate your sleep problems today.

Hamster Furniture Query

Heya guys i have a Crittertrail 3 cage for my male syrian hamster, moley, here is a link

But my hamster moley keeps gnawing the box where he sleeps and keeps me awake at night, i cant put the cage anywhere else as i have dogs and they get annoyed by the sound, so i have decided to block off the bed with a stopper and buy a house for the main cage area which he can sleep in can anyone suggest a good type of bed, wooden or plastic house which i can buy which is not too big for the cage but big enough for an adult sized hamster

You can put a 2 inch thick bedding in the cage. Hamsters are more than happy to burrow into their bedding and make a sleeping place for themselves there. You can give him a roll of toilet paper and let him rip it up and make his own bedding (it is fun to watch hamsters do that). Make sure that the toilet paper you give him is unbleached, untreated and non- fragrant.

You can also make a small box house for him out of a empty carton, as long as the cardboard is not colored. This would serve as a sleeping area for him as well as a gnawing toy.

If you still want to buy something, you can give an igloo to your hamster. Check the following link –
